Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the basis on which parents and guardians may use the BrainyBots website, request demos and enrol a student in our live online AI and coding programmes.

Last updated: 22 September 2026
1Parent / guardian contract

Where a child is enrolled, the purchasing or enrolling adult is responsible for the agreement with BrainyBots.

2Clear programme information

Programme pages describe the current grade range, format, duration, learning focus and published price.

3Consumer rights remain

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

4Respectful live learning

Students and families are expected to use class technology and communication channels appropriately.

01

About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of brainybots.co.uk and to BrainyBots demo, enrolment and live online learning services.

Where a student is under 18, the parent or guardian who requests a service, makes a payment or completes an enrolment is responsible for agreeing to these terms on the student’s behalf.

Before BrainyBots accepts online payment, the website should display the full legal trader identity and business/contact address together with any other information required by applicable law.

02

BrainyBots services

BrainyBots provides live online AI and coding learning programmes for students in Grades 4–8. Current programmes include:

  • AI Code Buds for Grades 4–5; and
  • AI Code Builders for Grades 6–8.

Programme pages contain the current published learning focus, class format, duration and price. You should review the relevant programme page before enrolling.

03

Enrolment and information provided

Parents and guardians should provide accurate information when requesting a demo or enrolling a student, including the student’s current grade and reliable contact information.

Submitting an enquiry or demo form does not by itself guarantee a place in a programme. A place is confirmed only when BrainyBots communicates acceptance and any required payment or enrolment steps have been completed.

If information relevant to class suitability changes, parents should contact BrainyBots so the learning arrangement can be reviewed.

04

Prices and payment

The price displayed for a programme at the time of purchase or confirmed enrolment is the applicable programme price unless an obvious pricing error has occurred.

BrainyBots should provide the total amount payable, the main characteristics of the programme and any material payment or cancellation conditions before a parent becomes bound to pay.

If a third-party payment provider is used, that provider may process payment information under its own terms and privacy notice. BrainyBots should not request card details through ordinary messaging or website text fields unless a secure payment system is specifically provided for that purpose.

05

Free demo sessions

BrainyBots may offer a free live online demo so a student and parent can experience the teaching approach before deciding whether to enrol.

A demo is intended as an introduction to the learning experience. It does not represent the full curriculum, guarantee a place in a particular class or create a promise of a specific academic outcome.

Demo availability may depend on scheduling and capacity. See Book a Free Demo for the current demo process.

06

Cancellation, cooling-off rights and refunds

Where a parent purchases a service online or otherwise at a distance, statutory cancellation rights may apply. Where applicable, UK consumer law generally provides a 14-day cancellation period for distance service contracts.

If you expressly ask BrainyBots to begin a paid service during an applicable cancellation period and then exercise a statutory cancellation right, the law may permit BrainyBots to charge a proportionate amount for the service already supplied, provided the required information and request were properly obtained.

Any programme-specific refund, rescheduling or missed-class policy will be communicated before purchase or enrolment where it forms part of the contract. Those policies do not override statutory rights.

To request cancellation or discuss a refund, use the Contact page and include the parent name, student name and programme.

07

Live online classes

BrainyBots classes are delivered live online. Parents are responsible for helping ensure the student has reasonable access to a suitable computer or laptop, stable internet connection and a learning environment appropriate for participation.

Class links and access details are intended for the enrolled student and household. They should not be shared publicly or distributed to unrelated third parties.

If a class cannot be delivered by BrainyBots as planned, BrainyBots should communicate the available remedy or alternative arrangement in accordance with the contract and applicable consumer rights.

08

Student conduct and safe participation

Students are expected to participate respectfully and use the class environment for learning. Behaviour that seriously disrupts a class, targets another participant, compromises safety or misuses learning systems may require intervention.

BrainyBots may contact a parent or guardian where conduct or participation needs to be addressed. Any decision to restrict a student’s participation should be proportionate to the circumstances and should not affect statutory rights.

Students should not disclose passwords, payment information, home addresses or other unnecessary personal information in AI tools or shared class activities.

09

Technology and third-party tools

BrainyBots may use third-party platforms for live classes, communication, coding, AI activities, scheduling or payment. The exact tools may change as the programme develops.

Where a third-party service has its own terms or privacy rules, those may also apply when the service is used. Parents should follow any age, account or parental-consent requirements imposed by those services.

BrainyBots cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party systems, internet services or devices outside its reasonable control.

10

Course materials and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, BrainyBots course materials, worksheets, lesson structures, graphics and original learning content are provided for the enrolled student’s personal educational use.

Materials should not be copied, sold, republished, uploaded publicly or used to create competing commercial course material without permission.

Students retain ownership of original work they create, subject to any rights that arise from third-party tools, assets or content they choose to use.

11

Programme changes and availability

BrainyBots may make reasonable changes to teaching tools, examples, activities, class scheduling or curriculum sequencing where needed to improve delivery, respond to technology changes or deal with circumstances outside reasonable control.

A material change should not remove the core service a parent has purchased without an appropriate remedy. Any contractual change remains subject to applicable consumer law and fairness requirements.

12

Service standards and liability

BrainyBots will provide its services in accordance with applicable legal obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so or removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

BrainyBots does not promise that participation will produce a particular school grade, examination result, career outcome or level of technical expertise. Learning progress varies between students and depends on participation, practice and other factors.

Parents remain responsible for ordinary supervision of their child outside the live learning service and for deciding whether external websites, accounts or tools are suitable for use outside BrainyBots-directed activities.

13

Privacy, cookies and communications

Personal information is handled in accordance with the BrainyBots Privacy & Cookies Policy. Website cookies and similar technologies are also addressed in the Privacy & Cookies Policy.

Parents should keep contact details reasonably up to date so BrainyBots can provide important class or service information.

14

Complaints, governing law and statutory rights

If you have a concern about a programme or service, please contact BrainyBots first so the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved.

These terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable UK consumer law. Any governing-law or jurisdiction wording used by BrainyBots must not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections that apply to them.
